10 YEARS WORKING FOR THE PRIMATES

This 2011 we are celebrating the first 10th Anniversary of this project and have scheduled a series of activities and events throughout the year to celebrate it.

Today Feb.10th officially begins the start of the events with the presence in Mona’s Primate Rescue Center of a group of school children who have prepared a "cake" of fruits for the chimpanzees living in Riudellots de la Selva.

The celebration was followed by the media that attended to the press conference. We will be uploading the videos on our site, so that you can also see the chimpanzees with their "cake" and how they have enjoyed it. But this afternoon from home you can still watch them here:

In addition, during the 10 th Anniversary throughout the year, we will have a travelling photo exhibition that will tour halls in different locations of Catalonia, including the Cosmo Caixa Barcelona. And also it’ll visit venues in other cities such as Madrid and Cambridge.

And finally, we are especially proud of the courses and conferences we have organized with the participation of personalities from the primatology world. As we go nearer the dates we will give you more details.
